Did you know Jax's allergies led to the design of our human-grade cotton-spandex dog pajamas?
There’s an expression: The Best Dogs come with the Worst Allergies. Ok, just kidding, there isn't but our exceptional pup did suffer from severe allergies and we needed a solution, fast.
After some research - and a pup cup for Jax - we determined that cotton-spandex would be the perfect solution to cover up his irritated areas. It provided a sense of cool and comfort on his irritated skin.
Cotton being a natural fabric, has hypoallergenic properties which make it an excellent choice for skin irritations or allergies compared to other materials, like wool. It also doesn't trap heat but will keep your pup warm and cozy.
Spandex, also referred to as elastane, is a man-made material known for its flexibility, color retention, breathability, and resistance to sun damage.
When these two materials are combined, they produce an exceptional fabric, ideal for dog shirts that's durable, colorful, breathable, stretchy, maintains its shape, and is comfortable for everyday wear.
At Jax & Molly's, we use only top-tier, human-grade materials, and all our cotton-spandex is pre-washed (detergent-free) and dried, ensuring your dog pajamas remain true to size.
